Hilton Head Golf Courses

Hilton Head is known the world over as one of the greatest golf vacation destinations, and with good reason. Home to some great courses like the Harbour Town golf links in Seapines, home of the MCI Heritage Classic, which has been host to the biggest names in golf, Nicklaus, Palmer, Love, Norman, Stewart...in fact there are more courses than you could possibly play in one visit, which is perhaps why so many people return year after year.

A collaborative effort between Fuzzy Zoeller and local golf course architecht Clyde Johnston, this is sometimes called “Fuzzy’s First”. Making good use of the natural terrain, Island West Golf Club has a lot of water to take into account, as well as numerous bunkers, and the Southern trademark of live oaks, complete with Spanish moss. The fairways roll more than most courses in the area, so a lot of fun to play.
